Scholarship Programs

The Brandon Owens Foundation offers three tiers of scholarship support for youth in Albany and Southwest Georgia.

Gap Completion — $500 to $1,000

Bridge emergency financial gaps for students facing hardship. Open to current program participants and alumni with demonstrated need and a 2.0+ GPA.

Access Scholarship — $1,000 to $2,500

Cover tuition, fees, and books at accredited institutions. For high school seniors, Albany/SW Georgia residents, 2.5+ GPA, with community service and FAFSA filing required.

Entrepreneurship Excellence — $2,500 to $5,000

Merit-based award for students pursuing business and entrepreneurship. Requires BOF program completion, 3.0+ GPA, business plan submission, and pitch presentation.

Application Timeline

Application window: February 1 through April 30 annually. Notification within 12 weeks of deadline. Awards disbursed directly to educational institutions.
